Aurifil are suppliers of 100% Egyptian cotton threads, grown in the Mako region of Egypt and manufactured in Milano Italy.  It is available in a variety of weights, textures & colors.

Thread is not 'just' thread when it's Aurifil. 

Aurifil Monofilament is 100% nylon and is available in clear or smoke.  It is the perfect choice when you want your stitches to hide in the background of a project. 

Aurifil 50 weight cotton thread is a strong &  thin thread that results in FLATTER seams and better piecing.  It is virtually LINT FREE which is remarkable for a cotton thread.  The thread is VERSATILE and is excellent for piecing, quilting, paper piecing, topstitching, embroidery, applique and more!  This means more time sewing and less time trouble shooting.

 One spool has plenty of thread to piece, assemble, quilt & bind a double size qult including the bobbin!  Each 1300m spool costs only $0.01/m and can fill over 17 average size bobbins.
