This is a great modern quilt that is super fun and quick to assemble. The pattern is well suited for a beginner and although there are diagonal seams in the quilt, there is no diagonal piecing and no fighting the bias.
The pattern includes step by step instructions with clear illustrations that are easy to follow along. There is a template to trim and true-up your blocks. There are several size options available - crib, lap, twin, queen or king. As well, there are several layout options included that can give your quilt several different looks and include options using 2-9 different fabrics, allowing you to give your quilt a scrappy look or a more modern sleek aesthetic.
