Quilting Around Applique

There are those special quilts that require a delicate touch and quilts with applique definitely fit into that category. We have finished numerous quilts with applique in both methods of quilting - one by quilting over the applique or two by quilting around the applique. Sometimes we have to quilt around other objects such as photos, buttons, ribbons or fasteners. See some of work below.
